Description

Overview:

As the field braces itself for the inevitable shift from TABE 9 & 10 to TABE 11 & 12 a lot of questions come to mind such as: How is TABE 11 & 12 different from the current version? How will these changes impact program plans & budget? How does it align with the state standards? What literacy and numeracy skills are students assumed to have acquired to successfully pass this new version of the TABE? What implications does this have upon instruction? What’s different about TABE 11 & 12 format and contents? How will it change the way the test is administered and scored?

This 3-part mini-series is designed to provide the ABE/HSE field with an overview and an orientation to the new TABE 11 & 12 so their program will become better equipped to face the challenges that come along with these changes.
